New Range Rover Evoque Dominates the Web
The new Range Rover Evoque has made a big impression online since the car was officially unveiled at Kensington Palace last Thursday.
The launch party was broadcast live on the Land Rover Facebook page, and the video was streamed to a further 110 big-name automotive and lifestyle websites. Combined global viewers had exceeded 700,000 when measured the morning after the event, and over the weekend tens of thousands more watched on-demand. The number of launch party viewers worldwide has now passed 1.8 million ....

According to J.D. Power and Associates 2010 Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) StudySM released today, Jaguar ranks 2nd among nameplates for the third year in row with a score of 854. Land Rover ranks 5th among nameplates with an overall score of 836, improving four ranking positions from 2009.
Land Rover's Range Rover is the award recipient for Large Premium Crossover/SUV. The APEAL study examines design and performance characteristics across 33 brand nameplates that make a new vehicle a delight to own and drive, and is based on owner evaluations of more than 90 vehicle attributes. 'We are proud of our vehicle performance rankings,' said Gary Temple, President of Jaguar Land Rover North America. The all-new Range Rover Evoque has entered its final phase of testing, with hundreds of in the toughest climates and conditions. Land Rover is making no secret of the operation - its design team has fitted ten prototypes with funky camouflage wraps, to introduce the new car in ten key cities worldwide, including Madrid. Ordinarily prototypes are disguised for discretion, but these ten are intended to be seen. The funky camouflage imagery is actually a GPS mapping trail of ten key cities for Evoque, with each vehicle saying 'Hello' to its city.
