Google 3D warehouse attract LR enthusiasts

Looking round the web this month, the land-rover-parts-shop.com team stumbled upon Google's 3D warehouse where some clever designers have created and uploaded some of their 3D modelling efforts.

Land Rover Sales Record

In the UK, Land Rover's largest market, the company has recorded its best ever month of sales in March 2010. Sales were up 67% on the same month last year and the company sold more than 11,300 vehicles so achieving the highest sales for any month in the company's 62 year history.

March 2010 is also the seventh consecutive month of improving sales for Land Rover signalling an increasingly stable marketplace. Phil Popham, Land Rover's managing director, commented, 'Land Rover UK has had an incredible start to 2010 - March has seen an all-time record in our home market which is extremely encouraging.' He continued, 'The sales increase is mainly owed to the phenomenal response received from customers and media to the award winning 2010 model year Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, Discovery 4 and Freelander 2. Houndkirk Moor, in the eastern Peak District moors is being restored to its former glory, thanks to funding by Natural England, Sheffield City Council and the National Grid. The moor, part of the Eastern Peak District Moors Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), the South Pennine Moors Special Area of Conservation and the Peak District Moors Special Protection Area, is undergoing restoration following extensive damage to the area. more >>>
